A major update to Happy Orchard has just been uploaded! We've added a lot more content to the game as well as some balance and QOL improvements.

IMPORTANT: Due to the significant changes made to the game and its progression, it is highly recommended that you start a new game if you've already started playing!

Changelog:

New Content

• Added 2 new fruit trees as well as their associated power-ups.
• Added 2 more stages, total number of match-3 levels up 30 -> 50
• Added additional upgrades for each fruits including the new ones, total # of upgrades up 9 -> 25

Balance changes

• Scoring system reworked; the combo multiplier has been significantly reduced.
  • We've been getting reports of people being able to complete levels with just a single swap, due to the huge score bonus from combos. This change was made primarily as a means to prevent that from happening.
    
• Minimum scores for most match-3 levels have been lowered to accommodate the above change.
• Stages no longer cost coins to unlock.
• Individual levels now require a one-time coin purchase to unlock.
• Players now start with 2 free apple trees when starting a new game.

Quality of Life

• Trees that have fruit can now be harvested by simply clicking on them.
• Added a description for each super fruit on the crafting window.

Known Issues:

• The game noticeably hitches before a level's game over window appears.
• Players can "click through"  the super fruit button in the upgrade screen when an upgrade is underneath the button.
• Gala's speech sound is much more rapid in the browser version.
• The browser version in general has some performance problems, most notably in the farm screen and the match game.
